WP 6: Project Management
In order to achieve a successful management of the project, and taken into account its considerable dimension (three years duration and 17 partners), an additional management work package has been included.
Task 19: Management
As described in section 6, it has been considered advisable to divide the management tasks in three parts: scientific management (carried out by ISE), administrative management (assumed by TTZ) and knowledge management (UNAPROL). Of course, the three leading organisations, ISE, TTZ and UNAPROL will keep in close contact during all the project in order to ensure a smooth and coordinated management.
The Project management will include the following elements:
- Project management meetings held 3-4 times a year (ISE, TTZ and UNAPROL)
- Communication with the partners (ISE, TTZ and UNAPROL)
- Communication with the European Commission (TTZ)
- Monthly project updates compiled by the Scientific co-ordinator (ISE)
- Preparation of project reports (TTZ)
- Preparation of meetings' minutes (TTZ)
- Mid-term review, final review and related documentation (TTZ and ISE)
- Monitoring of project progress, including milestones, deliverables and technical risks (TTZ and ISE)
- Collection of the partners' documents and cost and other statements and forwarding thereof to the Commission (TTZ)
- Reception of all payments made by the Commission to the consortium and its administration and distribution according to the work plan, the contract and the decisions made by the consortium (TTZ).
